Sales Representative – Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) (Western States U.S.)

 

Position Summary:

The IONM Sales Representative is responsible for directly promoting, selling and supporting Cadwell’s Cascade line of intraoperative neuromonitoring products in the Western U.S. states of WA, OR, ID, AK, HI, MT, CA, WY, CO, UT, NV, and AZ.  The position is focused on growing Cadwell’s overall business within the sales region through account penetration, development, and maintenance.  Promoting teamwork and team selling activities, driving revenue growth, and delivering industry-best customer satisfaction is key to the role.  This position is based in Southern California (greater Los Angeles metro area).

 

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals for IONM products
  • Carry out sales calls to accounts and customers in the IONM field with an emphasis on business growth in the hospital market
  • Develop territory business plans in alignment with management goals for the region
  • Create territory sales forecasts, utilize administrative tools for opportunity management (CRM)
  • Actively participate in IONM-related trade shows, exhibitions, conventions, and courses approved by Cadwell
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and forecasts
  • Function as liaison between customers and Cadwell staff in problem resolution
  • Provide customer recommendations and requirements to staff to assist in the technical development and marketing of products and services
  • Develop expert-level knowledge of Cadwell’s IONM products
  • Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

 

Education/Experience:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, sales, marketing, or a medical/scientific discipline
  • Requires two years of professional sales experience or equivalent, preferably in the medical or scientific research field

 

Skills/Job Knowledge/Ability:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including formal presentation skills before small groups to clearly communicate technical concepts
  • Proficiency in IONM technology, use and application
  • Computer literacy
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based networking
  • Ability to accurately assess customer needs and provide consultative solutions
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers
  • Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Ability/willingness to travel as needed
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Requires the following physical activities:  standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, visual acuity, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
