Position Summary:

Provides technical customer support for the Cadwell product line. Primary mode of support is telephone/webex helping the customer resolve issues faced with their Cadwell system in the field (installation, trouble shooting, networking, and applications training).   Also assists in software and hardware testing.


Key Functions:

  • Provides customer support through product operations, introductory functional training, product information, telephone support, and other services in support of equipment operations
  • Comprehensive understanding of servers, virtual environments, WAN and LAN topologies, citrix, and storage environments
  • Effectively troubleshoots computer, software, and networking issues
  • Provides technical telephone support to Cadwell customers regarding networking, installation procedures, and Cadwell application software
  • Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned


Education / Experience:

  • Background in health sciences, college degree in relevant area, or equivalent
  • Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, computer science, or related fields a plus
  • Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, or Wireshark certification preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in helpdesk and network support environments preferred


Skills/Job Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Computer proficiency is essential
  • Strong knowledge of computer operations, including applicable software platforms and networking
  • Knowledge in the following areas: networking (multi-site), firewalls, internet circuits, and basic encryption and security
  • Requires excellent oral and written communications skills, including formal presentation skills before small groups to clearly communicate technical information
  • Have a pleasant, friendly style
  • Is willing and understands how to build a long-term relationship with the customer
  • Skilled in problem analysis and resolution to accurately assess customer needs
  • Requires the following physical activities: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, visual acuity, and lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds
