Hands-On EEG for Beginners Workshop

April 19 – 20, 2019 or November 15 – 16, 2019

Workshop Location: Embassy Suites Las Vegas

The Hands-On EEG for Beginners Workshop covers the basics of EEG terminology, montages, patterns and artifact. You will learn about instrumentation, activation procedures, and how medication and other factors affect EEG. You will be introduced to ambulatory EEG, and participate in hands-on practicum. Registration includes all workshop materials and a certification of attendance upon completion of course as well as refreshment breaks and lunch both days. The course schedule is subject to change dependent on class size and/or subject interest.

 

Continuing Education Credits

ASET Continuing Education (ACE) credits will be awarded upon completion of this course. The Neurodiagnostic Society has granted ASET Continuing Education Units [ASET-CEUs] for this program. Such crediting, however, should not be construed by program participants as an endorsement of any type of instruments of supplies mentioned or involved in these presentations.

Instructor

Instructor Mary Ellen Burriss, R. EEG/EP T. R.NCS T. brings nearly 30 years of practical experience in NSC, EP, and EEG.  Mary Ellen’s teaching experiences include conducting “Hands-on Training” workshops for organizations including AAET and WSET.

To ensure the best learning environment, enrollment is limited. Registrations are taken in the order they are received. Tuition must be paid in advance to guarantee your space. Written confirmation will be emailed.

Airline reservations

Participants are responsible for their own airline reservations. Please do not make non-refundable airline reservations. Cadwell is not responsible for the refund of travel or hotel expenses under any circumstances

Cancellation policy

Cadwell reserves the right to cancel the course within 14 calendar days of the start date. In the unlikely event that a course is cancelled, 100% of the tuition will be refunded. Participant cancellations made more than 14 calendar days before the course receive a tuition refund minus a 20% administrative fee. The nature of the “hands on” aspect of the course – from an equipment and instructional standpoint – dictates that an optimal number of participants be maintained. Therefore participant cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date, including no-shows, will result in the tuition being non-refundable and non-transferable to a future date.
