IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF USED EQUIPMENT
Cadwell has been innovating and advancing the field of electrophysiology since 1979, when we introduced the first microprocessor controlled electromyography (EMG) system. Our commitment and desire to develop affordable, full-featured instruments, has not wavered over the last 30 years. Today our EMG and evoked potential (EP) products are designed around these basic principles; Reliability, Ease-of-Use, Reduced Testing Time, Rapid Review of Findings, and custom Report Generation.
The Sierra® Summit™ is the newest addition to our popular and innovative Sierra product line. The Summit is the result of fusing our intuitive Sierra Wave™ software with an all new, state-of-the-art, data acquisition/stimulation hardware platform. Key additions include an audiophile-quality dual speaker system (with graphic equalizer), color-coded durable connectors, ergonomically re-designed keypad, 4 trigger inputs and 4 trigger outputs for maximum flexibility with external devices, two independent electrical stimulators, internal hardware diagnostics, electrode continuity check, and our new CadLink™ database for improved workflow and central management of user settings.
The Summit can be configured with either a 2 or 12 channel amplifier. Each amplifier has increased CMRR, superior RF immunity, low stimulus artifact, and a fast recovery design.
The familiar Sierra Wave user-interface is preserved, and the system is fully compatible with Sierra Wave patient files and test settings. The Summit supports the full range of electrodiagnostic tests, and has built-in flexibility to support new protocol development and research applications.
The basic system includes a 2 or 12 channel amplifier with EMG, QEMG (MUP and IP), NCV, F Wave, H-Reflex, RNS, Blink, Somatosensory EP, Single StimTroller™ Handheld Electrical Stimulator, Autonomic Studies, CadLink database, and customizable Report Generation (including the Auto Findings Composer™). Options include Auditory EP, Visual EP, P300, Single Fiber EMG, MUNE, Dual Electrical Stimulation with Advanced Stimulation Controls, and CadLink Server. Click here for more information.
The Sierra® Ascent™ is a 2-channel, entry-level EMG system that includes numerous features found on our top-of-the-line Sierra® Summit™ system. The Ascent is offered with a 2-channel amplifier and single electrical stimulator and can be configured as a portable or desktop system. The portable version comes with a laptop computer and soft-sided carrying case. An optional wheeled carrying case is also available. The desktop version comes with a mini-tower and an LCD monitor, or an all-in-one PC. Both lightweight and hospital grade equipment carts are available to complete the system. The Sierra Wave is designed from the ground up to take full advantage of the Windows operating system. The Sierra Wave is well suited to hospitals, clinics, and mobile testing services. The basic system includes a 2 or 4 channel amplifier with EMG, NCV, F Wave, H-Reflex, RNS, Blink, Somatosensory Evoked Potentials, Autonomic Studies, and customizable Report Generation utilizing Microsoft Word. The Sierra Wave utilizes a unique StimTroller which reduces testing time by providing commonly used functions on the remote handheld stimulator. Advanced options include Single Fiber EMG, MUP Analysis, Interference Pattern Analysis, MUNE, Auditory and Visual EPs, and P300. Click here for more information.
The Sierra II Wedge has been an industry workhorse since its introduction in 1998. The system comes in a 2 or 4 channel configuration and includes protocols for EMG, NCV, F Wave, H-Reflex, RNS, and Blink Reflex plus the complete range of Somatosensory, Auditory, and Visual Evoked Potentials testing. Special features include a custom keyboard for convenient, one-button access to important test controls, an intuitive software interface, and a customizable report generator.
