Easy II Sleep Frequently Asked Questions
Can Easy II Sleep perform EEGs too?
Yes, the Easy II Sleep system was design with flexibility
in mind from the start. You can perform EEGs during the day and PSGs at night
to get the most out of the system.
Do I have to buy 2 separate systems to get both EEG and PSG?
No. When you purchase Easy II Sleep, you receive the
components necessary to perform EEGs as part of the base package.
Do I need to buy a separate oximeter?
No. Easy II Sleep includes a built-in oximeter right in the DC amplifier.
Do I need a separate computer?
Both Easy II and Easy II Sleep are controlled with
a Windows® computer. Cadwell can supply the computer with all necessary
software installed at our factory.
What accessories are included with Easy II Sleep?
We provide an extensive patient set up kit that includes
quality sensors from manufacturers like Pro-Tech and others. Also included
is the acquisition and reviewing software, a remote input headbox, 32-channel
EEG amp, 4-channel DC amp and a power com module.
Can additional reading stations be set
up for others to review records?
Yes. Cadwell provides extensive networking solutions
and additional software and computer hardware can be obtained from us.
What options are available?
We offer a state of the art digital video option and
special analysis software packages available include spike detection software
and others.
How are the records stored?
We offer a variety of storage and archive methods.
They range from CD-R, magneto optical, Zip, tape and more. Anything that Microsoft
Windows will recognize can be used.
Does the software have a database for keeping track of our patients?
Yes, the archive database is automatically updated
as patient records are archived. It includes powerful search tools to allow
you to quickly find specific information pertaining to the patient.
