How many channels are included with the Easy II?
The Easy II includes a 32-channel digital amplifier.

What comes with an Easy II system?
The Easy II comes with the 32-channel amplifier & cable, a flash stimulator, mobile floor stand, power supply module, EEG recording and reviewing software, and a starter electrode kit or credit toward your selection of Cadwell Safe™ Electrodes.

Do I need a computer to operate the system?
Yes, you need a computer. Cadwell can sell you a computer that is perfectly matched to the system and will install all necessary software at our factory, or you may choose to purchase your own computer as long as it meets the minimum requirements to run our software.

Is there a portable version of the Easy II?
Yes, to make the system portable, you simply need a laptop computer instead of a desktop computer.

Can I set up separate systems for reviewing the EEG record in another location?
Yes, in fact you can network multiple computers together within the same facility to keep everyone connected. All that is needed is the computer hardware and monitor and additional reading software from Cadwell.

What about video monitors and printers for the system?
Cadwell can supply you with all necessary peripheral items to suit your needs. We offer a variety of video monitor sizes and several types of DeskJet or LaserJet printers.

Can the system record and review ambulatory EEG?
Yes, Cadwell has an Easy Ambulatory EEG for your patients that need longer term monitoring in the comfort of their own environment. The recorder has a hard disk that stores the data and is removed and installed on a reading station for review.

Is video recording available?
Yes, Cadwell has a state of the art Synchronous Digital Video system that uses MPEG technology. Up to 72 hours of synchronized EEG and video can be recorded.

Does Cadwell offer a sleep diagnostic product?
Yes, our Easy II Sleep system can be added to an existing Easy II EEG system or purchased separately. Click here for more information on this product.

Can I buy my own computer to use with Easy II?
Yes, you may purchase your own computer. However, in order to run our software properly, it must meet our minimum requirements. We also recommend that you have Cadwell factory technicians install all software here in our headquarters.
